EKFC is an in-flight catering and support services company. The Head office was established in 2003 in Deira, United Arab Emirates, operating under the Emirates Group. Provides catering and support services to Emirates Airlines and all other airlines based at Dubai International Airport.
The company mainly operates through two subsidiaries namely Food Craft and LinenCraft. Food Point is a catering facility based in Dubai Investment Park and opened in July 2005. It is another food production center that can produce more than 30 million meals per year. Food Point was designed and project managed by European Projects, a UK-based food design and specialist company, which has since become International Food Systems Ltd. Linencraft is a 10,500m2 area laundering facility based in Dubai Investment Park. The facility can now process 210 tons of laundry and dry cleaning output per day.
The company provides more services like Airline Catering, Airport Food and Beverage, Foods and Beverage Catering Solutions, VIP, Private Jet Catering, Laundry and Food Production. The company directly employs 11000 employees and operates a catering center with a capacity to produce 225,000 meals per day. In 2017, the company produced 55 million meals. It has more than 100 airline clients.
